One of the most common early pregnancy symptoms is fatigue. And I’m not talking about dozing-off-in-front-of-the-TV fatigue. Often the fatigue women feel in pregnancy is more of the hit-by-a-Mack-Truck variety. This is common, and it should pass.
If you can manage to get up off of the couch, early in pregnancy is an excellent time to start a gentle workout program, and exercise might actually help you gain more energy. Before beginning, or changing, your exercise program, talk with your doctor or midwife.
