Holiday Gift Guide: Expecting Mamas

by Gugu Guru Leave a Comment

Celebrating the holidays as a mama-to-be can be exciting and exhausting! Whether you are unsure what to ask for as a gift this holiday season, or not sure what to gift a mama-to-be, we hope this gift guide provides some assistance!

Something off the Registry

We know this might sound like a given, but this is also one of the easiest ways to give a great gift to a mama-to-be. Many moms spend hours researching items to place on their baby registry, so gifting from the registry is the perfect way to find something you know they will love! If a mama does not have many items for herself on her registry, or doesn’t have a registry to share (yet), here are some other great ideas!

Something to Pamper Mama

Pregnancy can take it’s toll, so a great gift idea for a mama-to-be is an item to pamper her. We love this All in One Balm with safe ingredients and a soothing lavender scent. We also recommend this set from Earth Mama with tons of products to pamper during pregnancy.

Something for Breastfeeding

Stocking the mama-to-be up on essentials for breastfeeding can be a great gift idea. We love this Breastmilk Essentials set from Nanobébé. Mama will receive disposable nursing pads, breastmilk storage bags, a storage bag organizer, and a cooler for traveling with breastmilk, all great items for a breastfeeding journey!

Something for Mama and Baby

Choosing a gift that serves mom and baby can be a great way to celebrate a mama’s upcoming step into motherhood. A great baby-wearing wrap that will keep baby snug against mom as they bond together is a sweet gift idea. Baby massage is also a great way for moms and babies to bond. This card deck makes baby massage simple to learn and is an awesome gift idea!

Something to Support Mom

The Birth Deck is a one-of-a-kind educational gift that is meant to inspire and instill confidence in any pregnant mama. The Birth Deck is a giant deck of cards that teaches 50 easy ways to support a woman in labor through massage, hypnosis, affirmations, visualizations, labor positions and other simple tips. No studying, no classes, just clear directions and illustrations.

We hope this guide provided help and ideas for gifting to a mama-to-be this holiday season!

Mom Creator Spotlight: Thea Vaporis

by Gugu Guru Leave a Comment

Thea is a stay-at-home mama, but a fashionable one! She shares her life in front of the camera, but the behind-the-scenes of her everyday life as a mama. She’s had a long-standing career in the makeup and fashion industry, as well as being a master esthetician. She shares her love for clean and organic beauty, as well as relatable everyday life as a toddler mom.

Gugu Guru: Tell us your favorite thing to do when you’re not creating content.

Thea Vaporis: Thrifting and reading! I research everything. I love hunting down the best beauty products by reading about ingredients and understanding the science behind them. My toxic trait is I can’t drive by a thrift store without popping in.

GG: What is your favorite snack?

TV: I never met an olive or potato chip I did not like. Salty girl for sure.

GG: What kind of content do you love to create?

TV: My content focuses on clean beauty with a little bit of lifestyle. But, my main goal is to always connect with other moms. Whether that’s through my comment section, or by recommending a new lipstick, the objective is to make that connection and friendship with another mom. Motherhood is so isolating, and I love that a simple GRWM or makeup review can allow you to connect women together.

GG: What are your top 5 Mom Must-Haves?

TV: Coffee, bamboo PJs for mom and baby, backpack carrier, a car seat that swivels, bento boxes from Amazon for snacks.

GG: What are some of your favorite products and brands?

TV: I CANT live without the Kindred Bravely busty bras. Blanqi postpartum jeans, City Mouse diaper bag (the cutest most chic diaper bag), Baby Bjorn carriers and bouncer.

You can find Thea on Instagram, Tiktok, YouTube, and check out her Pillar site too!

Non-Food Halloween Treats

by Gugu Guru Leave a Comment

Not every child is able to enjoy a candy feast from a good Trick-or-Treat haul. Whether you are hoping to bring more inclusivity to your Halloween treat bowl for the children in your neighborhood, or you need alternatives for your own kiddos, check out these great products available on Audenticity. For creators, these would be great items to share in a round-up style static post or TikTok/reel video!

Halloween Scavenger Hunt (Digital Download)

As an alternative to Trick-or-Treating, try a Halloween Night scavenger hunt. This adorable digital download is ready for printing when purchased. Print one for each child and race around the neighborhood to find all the items on the list! You can even pair it with an instant camera and create a scrapbook at the end of the hunt! A fun alternative that can still include costumes and all the fun! Plus, no shipping required!

Stickers

If you are looking to add some fun non-food items to your treat bowl for trick-or-treaters, these stickers are a great option! These stickers are fun, decorative, and there’s a good amount of space on the sticker sheet to allow you to cut the stickers out into individual stickers, perfect for popping in the trick-or-treat bag!

Spider Rings

Who doesn’t need an extra accessory for trick-or-treating? These spider rings are adorable and a perfect non-food item for your treat bowl, Halloween party favors, and more! Grab a few to fill your treat bowl!

Temporary Tattoos

Want your Halloween treat bowl to be the hit of the neighborhood? These temporary tattoos will make your home the jackpot for trick-or-treaters. Set out a pack of water-based wipes for easy and instant application! We love these monster designs and these adorable ghosts!

If you have other ideas for Halloween treats that are non-food items, we would love to have you leave us a comment and share with our community! Happy Halloween!
