Mom Creator Curations: Travel Strollers

by Gugu Guru Leave a Comment

Mom Creators talk about the travel strollers they couldn’t live without.

In our Facebook Group this week we asked our amazing Mom Creators to chime in on their favorite travel stroller. And they delivered! Check out what our Mom Creators had to say about why these strollers are their top picks!

The Most Popular Choice: UppaBaby Minu (V2)

UPPAbaby’s Minu+ V2 is a top choice for many moms. Jessica Paquette notes its versatility, writing “car seat, bassinet, all can snap in like normal UPPAbaby for infant use.” Erin Franta writes, “It has a one-hand fold, and fits in many overhead bins. I can carry baby in one hand and carry or load the stroller in the other.” Jennifer Saxton adds, “love my Minu especially now that it has a ride on board,” helping this stroller to work for families with multiple kids and offering multiple ways to ride!

The Multiple Kids Choice: Zoe Twin+

Traveling with more than one small child is a totally different game. Brianna Burpo says, “We recently traveled with our Zoe Twin+ for my two littles and it was a dream! It’s super lightweight. Folds up well. Has a decent amount of cargo space.”

The Airplane Friendly Choice: Contours Itsy

Looking for a travel stroller that can fit in an overhead bin while traveling on a plane? Sarah Haley shares, “I have the Contours Itsy and I LOVE it for travel with my toddler, especially for flights and around the airport. It’s super lightweight, folds easily and fits overheard in airplanes so I don’t have to gate check it. Wish there was a little more storage space under, it’s hard to really put anything under there but worth it for the ease of use and affordability.”

The Luxe Choice: Bugaboo Butterfly

If traveling in style is your vibe, the luxe features and design of the Bugaboo Butterfly might be the right choice for you. Selina Aquino shares that she sees that others, “seem to love the bugaboo butterfly because it has a higher seat back compared to some of the other trifold competitors. It also has a decent-sized under-storage basket that is easily accessible. Bonus extended sun canopy is great too!”

The Budget Option: Summer Infant 3D Lite

Looking for a travel stroller that won’t break the bank? Coming in at under $100, the Summer Infant 3D Lite doesn’t skimp on features either! Shannon Willett writes that the stroller “folds up with one hand, is affordable, has a carrying strap, the seat reclines, it has a basket for storage, is easy to maneuver with one hand, is lightweight, and easy to clean!”

The Smooth Ride Choice: Joolz Aer+

We often hear that travel strollers have a less smooth ride compared to jogging and regular strollers. The Joolz Aer+ seems to have solved this according to Danica Kristl Decano. She states that the stroller’s “fold is compact and it feels very sturdy for a travel stroller. The push is surprisingly smooth as well.”

Shop Small Choice: Bombi Bebee

We love shopping small and the Bombi Bebee Lightweight Stroller is a great option for a travel stroller. Jewell Sabrina writes, “They’re a small business out of Rhode Island. Super light, easy fold, comes with a travel bag, and reasonably priced! It’s my go-to.” This stroller also won the 2022 Baby Innovation Award for Stroller Product of the Year!

New Product Alert: 2023 Stroller Wagons by Larktale

by Gugu Guru Leave a Comment

A few years ago, the team at Gugu Guru had the pleasure of trying out the Larktale Caravan Stroller Wagon. We asked some of our mom creators to test out the Caravan and give us honest feedback. From day one, it was a hit! Of course, we knew it would be. With so many features, we could hardly find any complaints – and pleasing a group of moms isn’t an easy task!

In 2023, Larktale‘s focus on producing excellent stroller wagons has exploded. They have launched three new wagons and updated the existing Caravan. See what our mom creators had to say about the new lineup! Plus, use code LKTL-GUGU for 20% off!

Caravan Stroller Wagon

The Caravan, Larktale’s flagship stroller wagon has now received some great upgrades. Holding up to 200 lbs, and up to 4 passengers!, the Caravan is your go-to wagon for everything. Easily push over any terrain and pop into your trunk when you’re on the go. You’ll need 2 Double Seat Kits (sold separately) to use with 4 passengers, and 1 Double Seat Kit to use with 3 passengers. The Caravan is excellent for families with multiple kids and beloved by the special needs community. Check out their lineup of accessories too!

Caravan Coupe Stroller Wagon

Interested in the Caravan but looking for something more compact? Look no further than the Caravan Coupe. This stroller wagon has 2 reclining seats and is perfect for families with 2 kids (including twins!). It is small enough to fit in most trunks and great for running errands, trips to the zoo, and neighborhood walks.

Sprout Single-to-Double Wagon

The Larktale Sprout is a single-to-double stroller wagon AND JPMA Innovation Award Finalist. A great option for families with two little ones (especially a baby + toddler), this will make life in the city or suburbs beyond simple. Use as a single wagon or expand to double mode to tout around all your little ones and belongings.

Crossover Single Stroller to Wagon

Last, but certainly not least, the Crossover stroller wagon is another convertible option by Larktale. Utilize the Crossover as a full size single stroller or convert to a double seat wagon. This option is great for parents who want flexibility but don’t want to choose between a stroller and a wagon.

Mom Creator Curations: The Best Baby Travel Gear

by Gugu Guru 4 Comments

Although wild weather and snowstorms seem to be spreading throughout the country, spring travel really is around the corner. We have reached out to our network of mom creators to help us discuss their must-have travel products for baby. See what they had to say below and for extra credit, give them a follow!

Plane Travel with Baby: Comfort

Anytime you head to the airport with baby, there can be a great deal of unpredictability. Flight delays, nap disruptions, and the inability to ‘exit’ can add a layer of stress to any travel day. Our mom creators have so many suggestions for keeping your little one busy on the plane. Take a look!

Feeding schedules can be a logistical nightmare when you’re flying with your little one. If you’re bottle feeding, be sure to bring extra breastmilk or formula in case of delays. Also, load up a few extra bottles in case you aren’t able to clean your bottles as you would at home. We prefer Nanobebe’s Flexy silicone bottles (like Madison C.), which are lightweight and leakproof. Their wide base makes them a great choice for travel as they are much sturdier while filling on the go.

A great carrier will make travel day a cinch. Something that’s comfy to wear and easy to put on is always our go-to recommendation. We also love something that folds up small to take up barely any space in your carry-on (which we know is already filled with TONS of snacks). Check out the Ergobaby Embrace or the Baby Bjorn Mini. As an added bonus, these will double as a nursing cover if you’re breastfeeding on takeoff or landing.

Travel with Baby: Simplicity

Toys to help keep your little one busy are always a hit. Fat Brain Toy Company’s Squigz and Whirly Squigz are a favorite for Shannon W. “They are easy to stick to the window, tray table, or even your own forehead! They are easy to clean and don’t take up much space.”

If you are looking for that great travel stroller with baby, look no further! Doona’s all-in-one car seat/stroller makes travel a breeze. Chelsea A. agrees – “The Doona makes everything easier!” The wheels pop right out from the infant seat, meaning you no longer have to travel with a car seat AND a stroller.

Go-Be Sleeves are also a must when traveling with littles. Keep those germs at bay with the easy-to-use tray table cover. See what Cassy A. has to say about this travel essential.

Looking for a more traditional travel stroller? Take a look at our highlight of Lightweight Travel Strollers.

Destination Essentials

Whether you’re taking that cross-country flight or jumping into the car for your annual road trip, let’s talk about some necessities at your destination.

If your destination doesn’t include a safe place for baby to sleep, be sure to pack one. We love recommending playards. They fold up and can move with you on the go. Check out the options by Graco, 4moms and Guava Family. Expert tip – Pair with a Slumberpod to create a dark sleep environment even when you’re sleeping in the same room!

A stroller wagon (check out the newest lineup from Larktale!) can be a game-changer when you’re traveling with your baby. Most stroller wagons will give you great push or pull access and they will also double as great storage. When you’re going to be active during the day, a stroller wagon will always fit the bill.

Lastly, travel with baby isn’t complete without your play and entertainment items. First, your playard can easily transform from sleep to play throughout the day. Looking to recreate your playmat? Grab a swaddle blanket, some teethers and stuffed animals and you’ve got an on-the-go activity mat.

If all else fails, Shannon B. swears by the Busy Baby Mat while traveling with her little one. “I have a 2 year old daughter, we are out and about often which often includes a stop for lunch. I never leave the house without our BusyBaby Mat! The bottle leash was super helpful when she was taking a bottle, so she couldn’t throw it!”

4 Registry Must Haves for Baby #2

by Christine Swearingen Leave a Comment

Okay mamas. Let’s talk baby #2. Even if you’ve had a baby before, there are things you will want to put on a baby registry for your second child. There will be new products to the market, things you want to purchase or do differently with your second, and things that will make your life easier. Some of our favorite products for a second child registry are below!

Stroller

First up, a new stroller! We love Mockingbird for its versatility and large range of accessories. Their single-to-double stroller is perfect for two littles. When your oldest ages out of sitting in a stroller or baby number three comes along, you can add the riding board. With 19 configurations, and even more features and accessories, this stroller will grow with your family through all stages.

Nursing and Pumping Bras

If you didn’t splurge for your first child, thank us later and pick up some Kindred Bravely nursing/pumping bras before baby number two arrives. The comfort and quality of their bras are worth every penny. They’ll carry you through pregnancy, postpartum, and beyond to any future pregnancies and postpartum stages. While you’re at it, spoil yourself with some new pajamas or loungewear for pregnancy or postpartum.

Baby Carrier

A definite must for baby #2 is a baby carrier. You’ll appreciate being hands free to spend time with your first child or take a minute to catch up around the house. The ergoBaby Omni 360 is a comfortable and supportive carrier option that will grow with your child. For a simple wrap-carrier, check out Baby K’tan.

Baby Monitor

If your kids are closer in age, you’ll want to have a baby monitor that allows you to stream multiple cameras. Nanit is a great option if you like to have a monitor viewable on your phone. We love that the app makes the cameras accessible from anywhere, even when you’re not home. If you prefer a standalone monitor, the Infant Optics DXR-8 Pro is our favorite.

Mom Creator Curations: Bundle Up Edition

by Abby Ludwig Leave a Comment

Let’s shoot straight. You can only stay inside with your littles for so many days in a row. Occasionally as the temperature drops, it’s necessary to bundle up and get some fresh air. We asked our network of Mom Creators to share their favorite products to keep their little ones (and themselves!) warm while playing outside.

For Mom (or Dad!)

“The 3-in-1 Maternity Parka from Seraphine! This has been a game changer for babywearing when it’s cold in New England. My 14-month-old will sleep in the carrier when I have this on so its a sanity saver when I can’t be inside any longer!” Sabrina J. Follow on IG and TikTok

“One of my favorite winter items are the 7AM Enfant Stroller hand warmmuffs. They help avoid misplaced gloves while attending to your child and double to keep your hands toasty on those really cold frigid days.” – Selina A. Follow on IG and TikTok

“The “zip us in” insert that allows you to baby wear with any coat!” – Rachael S. Follow on IG

For the Toddler

“My must-have winter product was the JJ Cole Bundleme that we put on the stroller, which allows us to get out all winter long. Bundle the kids up and let the have just a little bit of fresh air that they so desperately need! My 2.5-year-olds still fit comfortably in these and are snug as a bug (or two bugs in my case).” Abby L. Follow on IG and TikTok

“For sledding we went with the classic Target snow bibs and Cuddle Dud or Under Armour layering pieces.” – Ashleigh S. Follow on IG and TikTok

“Kids warmmuffs by 7AM Enfant are great for those piggyback/wheel board riders who are also battling the cold with you. They even grow with your toddlers and double as scooter hand warmers. Definitely a plus for us New Yorkers (or others living in a cold city) that still have to run daily errands on those super colder days.” Selina A. Follow on IG and TikTok

For your Infant

“Zutano booties! No fussing with socks that don’t stay on their feet and if they kick the blanket off, it’s okay!” – Shannon W. Follow on IG and TikTok

“Carter’s Sherpa Bunting. We’re in Buffalo, NY and we had two major lake effect blizzards this winter so far and I couldn’t have lived without [this]. It has foldovers for the hands so I didn’t have to worry about mittens!” Ashleigh S. Follow on IG and TikTok

“A stroller muff is one of our favorite winter gear items. Perfect for keeping kiddos cozy during outdoor walks. Pro tip: we ordered the larger toddler size and found it works even with smaller babies!” – Samantha F. Follow on IG

Gladly Family Wagon Stroller: Ready for Adventure

by Christine Swearingen Leave a Comment

One of our experts had a chance to try the Anthem2™ 2-Seater All-Terrain Wagon Stroller from Gladly Family. Read what she has to say about it below.

The Anthem Wagon Stroller is everything I could ever ask for in a wagon, and more. We’ve always been an active family and love being outside and exploring. With two kids, we still like to be on the go and create our own adventures. And with this wagon stroller, we easily can.

As a mom of two, a 3 year old and a newborn, space is always a premium. The creators of this wagon have created a space for everything, and they didn’t forget the parents. From the double-snack tray and child cup holders, to the interior mesh pockets, to a cup holder and storage area for parents conveniently located on the handle. Another thing I love is the two fold-up features of this wagon to save space in the garage and store it neatly. You can fold it flat or in a standing fold.

My daughter loves the double canopy on the wagon so she can “hide in her wagon fort” and stay warm on even the coldest days. I love that it’s compatible with our carseat and is so easy to click onto the wagon so we can quickly move from car to wagon when on-the-go.

We’ve used the wagon stroller on the sidewalks, rocky roads, and even in the snow. It’s handling ability and all-terrain tires and suspension system allow for a comfortable ride for my kids in any type of terrain. You can push like a stroller or pull like a wagon smoothly, and easily transition between the two by simply changing your position on the handle.

Gladly Family really thought of every feature you need in a stroller wagon and we are so glad we’ve discovered it. With the Anthem2 All-Terrain Wagon Stroller, we can still create adventures and memories with our kids for years to come. Check it out yourself and discover all the greatness!

Best Budget Baby Registry Must Haves

by Gugu Guru 1 Comment

Is a Budget Baby Registry really possible? There’s no question that having a baby is going to take a little funding.  The good news is that, although there are certain items that you really shouldn’t get as hand-me-downs (e.g., car seats) – you don’t have to splurge for high-quality items.  There are many budget baby registry finds on the market today, including stylish clothing and gear that won’t break the bank.  Here are our picks for your best budget baby registry, keeping your wallet in mind.

Budget Baby Registry: Gear & On The Go

Best Budget Baby Carrier

We often recommend babywearing, which has wonderful benefits aside from the hands-free aspect. One of our favorite stylish, yet affordable brands on the market is Infantino. This Infantino Flip Advanced 4-in-1 Convertible Carrier ($29.99) grows with your child; suitable for babies 8 to 32lbs. It offers four ways to carry: newborn facing in, older baby facing in, facing out, and back carry. For a budget-friendly wrap-style carrier (without the difficulty of a wrap), we also LOVE the Baby K’tan ($59.95) carrier.

Best Budget Stroller

Baby Trend Snap N Go EX Universal Infant Car Seat Carrier is one of our top recommendations for families on a budget. The Snap N Go turns your infant car seat (we like Graco’s infant car seats) into a travel stroller so you don’t need to have a whole stroller system.  However, when baby grows out of the infant car seat, you’ll need a high-quality lightweight stroller like our favorites – the Summer Infant 3Dlite Convenience Stroller or the super sleek Larktale chit chat.

Looking for the convenience of a travel system? Graco has you covered!

Lastly, in the early stages of baby, you’re going to have to tote around a lot of stuff. We love the Baby K’tan as our stylish value find.  Take a look here to read what some real moms had to say about Baby K’tans hands-free diaper bags.

Budget Baby Registry: Bedroom/Nursery

One of the 2016 safe sleep recommendations from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) is for infants to share their parents’ bedroom for at least the first six months and, optimally, for the first year of life, based on the latest evidence. So, it’s likely you’ll need a sleeping arrangement for your bedroom. If you’re looking to adhere to AAP guidelines, the super portable, affordable, and safe-sleep approved BRICA Fold N’ Go Travel Bassinet is a dream for your wallet. Do note, it’s only meant for use up to 6 months and, you’ll likely have to put the bassinet on the floor, which may not be practical for a number of reasons (e.g., frequent night-time nursing, pets, etc.) For something sleep-approved that requires less bending over and also grows with your child, go with the Graco Pack ‘n Play On The Go Playard with bassinet.

Best Budget Cribs

You’ll need a crib mattress of course and our budget pick is and always has been the Safety 1st Heavenly Dreams White Crib Mattress. Our general go-to brand for high-quality cribs that won’t break the bank is DaVinci. The Jenny Lind crib shown above will add great style to your nursery without breaking the bank. Ikea also has excellent crib options. Cribs are really a blank canvas regardless – and a great crib sheet can add that pizazz you need. We love the multi-packs by Peanutshell or Ely’s & Co.

moonjax® Swaddle Blanket 3-Pack Moon, Stardust, Constellation

For use inside or outside of the nursery, do NOT forget some muslin swaddle blankets, which have multiple uses beyond just swaddling.  Parents just rave about these 100% organic swaddle blankets from Moonjax said to be among the softest of their kind out there.  While they are on the pricier side, the multi-pack gets you a great deal on something you’ll use all the time.

Best Budget Swaddles

Wearable swaddles like the Swaddle Me Original swaddles are also a great, budget-conscious option. Swaddles create a cozy, womb-like feeling for baby and prevent the startle reflex that can wake your newborn infant. A three pack of these costs around $35 or less

Wubbanub Soft Toy and Infant Pacifier

While the wildly popular Wubbanub may be described by some as pricey and hardly fit for a budget baby registry, we’ve added it for two reasons: 1. it’s a 2-in-1 product (pacifier + lovie) so we feel that this justifies a higher price tag and 2. if you’re having a shower, it’s great to register for this item as a gift. An important thing to note about Wubbanubs, due to safe sleep recommendations, reserve the Wubbanub for supervised snoozing only.

Nanobebe flexy pacifiers are an excellent choice for sleep!

Best Budget Baby Monitor

Since the launch of Gugu Guru in 2015, the VTech DM221 Safe & Sound Digital Audio Baby Monitor has remained our leading budget baby monitor recommendation across the board. If you’re looking for a video monitor, we would recommend the Summer Infant Glimpse Video Baby Monitor as our budget video monitor pick coming in at less than $100.

Best Budget Humidifier

You’ll need a cool mist humidifier for your home. It will help immensely when baby catches the sniffles and even when breastfeeding! We have always been huge fans of Crane USA and their excellent humidifiers.

Budget Baby Registry: Layette

Best Budget Baby Layette

Generally people love to gift clothing, so try to register for specific items that you know you’ll love. We always recommend adding pajamas in a variety of sizes and some basics that you know you’ll use. Check out our post on newborn clothing necessities Clothing is also something that you can easily score as hand-me-downs or from BST (Buy/Sell/ Trade) groups on Facebook. You’ll want to get lots of onesies and zippered pajamas (snaps are terrible in the middle of the night.) To make sure you have some of the basics covered, you can also register for an economical layette set like this Essential Newborn Baby Layette Set from SpaSilk. Here’s a budget tip – go gender neutral for clothes.  If you plan to have more babies, you can re-use what you have and if you don’t plan on having another, you can trade or sell gender-neutral items more easily.

Budget Baby Registry: Feeding

Regardless of how you plan to feed your baby, you’ll definitely need some burp cloths. One of the most popular burp cloths is actually labeled as a diaper! The Gerber Birdseye 3-Ply Prefold Cloth Diaper. A pack of 10 will cost you less than $20.

Though it’s certainly not the least expensive pillow on the market, nursing moms love the My Brest Friend Original Nursing Pillow, which comes in a variety of colors and styles. You’ll also want to pick up some nursing pads as well. For mothers who are not exclusively breastfeeding, the Evenflo Balance + Bottles are an excellent high-quality budget choice. Parents love the angled bottle for reducing gas and ease of use. Don’t forget a bottle brush too.

As baby starts solids and graduates to self-feeding, the Fisher-Price Spacesaver High Chair is our top budget choice. In fact, Gugu Guru’s founder, Monica, used this chair for her two babes. For baby’s adventures dining in, you’ll also need soft-tip infant spoons, suction bowls and bibs (note: there are drool bibs and there are feeding bibs, we’re speaking of the latter.)

Budget Baby Registry: Bath & Potty

Here’s the truth about diapers: you may have to try a few brands before you figure out what works best.  It’s not unusual that one diaper brand is deemed as superior and leak proof by one parent, and that same brand is labeled as inferior by another.  It’s also not unusual to switch along the way.

Best Budget Diapers

Huggies Little Snugglers, Pampers Swaddlers, and Luvs are often loved by many parents. Also, don’t look past your bulk buy stores (Costco and Sam’s Club both have excellent diaper options). Target also has an excellent line of diapers, which many parents swear by! took the cake. Budget hint: try Amazon’s Subscribe & Save service for 5% off diapers and also wipes.

Earth Mama Organics Simply Non-Scents Castile Baby Wash

Even though this post is about saving money on baby products, Gugu Guru would encourage our readers not to skimp too much on products you put on baby’s skin, e.g., hair & body wash or lotion. Luckily, we found Earth Mama’s line of safe baby wash, perfect for those newborn suds.

For infant bath tubs, Summer’s Splish ‘n Splash Newborn Tub has always reigned supreme among parents for a best budget find. Shown here, this tub will grow with your little one all the way to toddlerhood!

Best Budget Hooded Towels

For adorable and budget-friendly hooded towels and washcloths, look no further than Luvable friends.

Budget-minded parents will be happy to know that you can get all of your health and grooming essentials in one fell swoop with the Safety 1st Deluxe Kit

Budget Baby Registry: Play Time

For our favorite budget play mat, the beloved Infantino brand comes in again with some amazing options.

Fisher Price consistently has some great play options. You can find some exceptional toys, bouncers, and seats for baby to use throughout the house.

To Grandmother’s House, We Go!

by Abby Ludwig Leave a Comment

After the past 20 months, we are all ready for a bit of normalcy. For many of us, this might mean traveling to see Grandparents this holiday season. No matter near or far, there are some products you may want when you bring your little ones for a visit. Check below for our round-up of all the products that may need to “live at Grandmas!”

Also, don’t forget to check out our Ultimate Travel Checklist.

Time to Eat

You’ve finally figured out a routine for your little ones. Baby needs a bottle every 4 hours, while your toddler needs 3 meals and about 45 snacks in between.

Starting with baby, we absolutely adore the bbhugme Nursing Pillow, which is great for both breast and bottle feeders. It is customizable, comfortable, and comes with an excellent carry case, which is great for travel.

If you’re pumping, be sure to grab a Freeze It Flat by MAMMaway. This will allow you to efficiently freeze + store your breastmilk, without taking up valuable space in Grammy’s freezer. Also, be sure to check out some of our travel favorites by Baby’s Brew. Known for their excellent bottle warmers and 2-in-1 Snack Cups.

For your little one starting solids, we love the sets by Green Sprouts. You will have your bibs + dishes ready to go when lunch approaches. Your toddler will also love the GoBe Snack Spinner, making snack time fun and easy!

Time to Run Out and About

While you may travel with your stroller and/or carrier, sometimes it’s nice to show up at your Grandparent’s without any gear. We love leaving a lightweight stroller at Papa’s to throw in the car or run to the park. Larktale has some of our favorites, which also fold up small for easy storage. Check out the Chit Chat or the Autofold, which folds down small with the flip of a handlebar. Looking for a way to carry multiple kiddos? Larktale’s Caravan Wagon is an excellent way to visit the park, beach, zoo, and beyond!

Time to Relax

Sometimes at Granny’s the schedules and routines go out the window. We support that! Vacation is a time when rules are broken. Instead of nap time, your 3-year-old may cozy up on the couch watching football. Bizzi Growin has some of the softest luxury blankets with the cutest patterns. We highly recommend the Koochicoo blanket for your big kids and their adorable sleepsacks for your littles!

Looking for a safe place to sleep? Babymoov’s Naos Crib & Playard is an excellent option. Weighing under 9 lbs, this playard will fold up small for easy storage and easy for Grandpa to move. Mom hack: This is a great place for baby to play, especially in an area that might not be babyproofed as your home. Add some reusable ergoPouch Window Blockouts to ensure a great night of sleep for everyone.

Whether you’re visiting Grandparents by plane or car, we know you’ll be fully prepared to enjoy time with your loved ones!

5 Best Lightweight Travel Strollers

by Jenna Hatfield Leave a Comment

Whether you’re traveling for the first time as a parent or you’re an old pro at bringing along little ones on your world adventures, you won’t regret adding a travel stroller to your list of things to pack.

A travel stroller is smaller and more compact than your everyday stroller. However, it’s also a bit bigger and more rugged than an umbrella stroller, making it a better choice for different terrains. The travel stroller still offers a bit of storage and a few amenities like cup holders while also folding compact. All of the strollers we’re recommending fold down to carry-on size to fit in almost all overhead bins on planes.

We’ve included the weight of the stroller and the max child weight it can carry after each review to help you make the best decision for your upcoming travels.

The Traveler by ZOE

While we’re not sure what the budget-friendly Traveler by ZOE has done to be labeled “Disney Approved,” but if you’re heading there, you might want to grab this handy travel stroller. It’s another easy-fold option that quickly snaps down to standard carry-on size. We love that it comes in eight fun colors (and even a camo print) along with a UPF 50+ 4-panel extendable canopy. Your little one will be safe from the sun and heat while you traverse the happiest place on Earth!

Child weight max: 45lbs
Stroller weight: 11lbs

The Chit Chat by Larktale

If you’re looking for something a little fancier, you can’t go wrong with The Chit Chat by Larktale. The Cottesloe Cream version feels very classy and it comes in five other colors. It folds down into standard carry-on size, but it comes with a carrying strap as a bonus. Plus, it pushes like a much larger stroller, making it great for vacations with loads of activity.

Child weight max: 55lbs
Stroller weight: 14.5lbs

Also, new for 2023, they have launched an entire new line of INCREDIBLE stroller wagons. Not as lightweight, but worth checking out for longevity and versatility.

Pockit+ All Terrain Stroller from gb

If you’re wanting super lightweight and a bit of a techy feel, The Pockit+ All Terrain Stroller from gb is the one for you. It’s the lightest travel stroller we’re featuring, coming in 9.5 pounds. At under 10 lbs, this stroller will still amazingly hold up to 55lbs!

Child weight max: 55lbs
Stroller weight: 9.5lbs

Silver Cross Jet

Looking for something that will hold up to loads of trips, takes a car seat, and is easy on the eyes? The Silver Cross Jet is exactly this and more. Newborn compatible from day one with its near-flat recline, this stroller is great for airports, city streets, and quick errands. Unlike some other travel strollers, the canopy also has a pop-out visor to add to its UPF50+ protection. Silver Cross prides itself on high-quality strollers and what the Jet lacks in weight, it makes up for in functionality.

Child weight max: 55lbs
Stroller weight: 13.6 lbs

BABYZEN YOYO2

We’d be remiss if we didn’t share the BABYZEN YOYO2. It’s beautiful, complete with a UPF and water-repellent sunshade as well as compatibility with some infant car seats. Add the newborn pack to offer functionality from day one and YOYO2 becomes the only stroller you’ll ever need. Additionally, the stroller folds and unfolds in seconds, making it the perfect choice for busy urban families and travel. Speaking of the fold, you can easily push the stroller right onto the airplane before popping it in the overhead compartment for takeoff.

Child weight max: 39.7 lbs (US weight limit)
Stroller weight: 13.6 lbs

These five lightweight travel strollers will help you get through subways, airports, and busy streets. Whether you go for a fun, bright color or the most compact fold, your family will definitely be traveling in style.
